Blog Assignment 3- Illegal Immigration
Today in class we discussed the issue of illegal immigration. Illegal immigration is a very opinionated subject in America and has been at the center of many political debates. Your blog assignment is to post at least seven sentences saying what an illegal immigrant is, why illegal immigration is a problem, who you think is to blame for it, what is being done to stop it, and should the U.S. continue to put money into preventing immigration(why?) or could there be another solution (if so what?). Use examples from your hand out I gave you if you can. The links to the sites I got the info from are below as well as another link with articles about illegal immigration.

An illegal immigrant is a person that enters the country without a visa or permit. It is a problem because the country doesn't have control of its borders. the federal government is to blame for it, for not enforcing the law. Nothing is being done to stop it. The U.S should not prevent legal immigration, but it should change its immigration laws to allow good people to legaly immigrate to the U.S.

Illegal immigration is when people from other countries sneek into the US and other places not becoming a citizan. It is a problem because the people in the US have to pay for these people's medical bills, and other things because they have no insurance, etc. An example to blame for is the Mexican government. The are not strong at all sa the Mexicans want to move to the US because the government there is really bad. Border patrols are always on duty trying to stop smugglers and illegal immagrets from coming across the border. They have set up buildings to test the illegal immagrants that they have causght to see if they have drugs. The Us should keep putting money into it because once they have all the supplies they need the US can probably stop the people. Another solution to this is that the US could try to put their money into a better government for Mexico and other places. That would be a good solution.

An illegal immigrant is someone who illegally, against the law, comes over to another country without having a visa or anything. The problem with illegal "aliens" is that when they get a job we have to pay for them to work. We also have to pay ALL the money when they wreck us with their fake drivers license and their medical bill in OUR taxes. This is also a problem because sometimes these greedy people, just to get money, bring drugs to America. It is simply the Mexican governments fault for spoiling Mexico's economy. This big mess shouldn't be blamed on Border Patrol, they are doing their best and are keeping many,many Mexicans out of America. I think we could put a little , or a lot , more money in technology and such to keep Mexicans out. Maybe America could train more men.

An illegal alien is a person who comes into the United States without the proper documentation. Though he/she resides in the U.S., he/she is not a citizen. Illegal immigration is a problem for several reasons. First, illegal aliens are earning money in the U.S. and sending it back to people in Mexico. This transfer of funds does not promote the U.S. economy. Second, illegal aliens use resources such as healthcare and emergency services, but they do not contribute to the taxes which fund the services. One reason why we have illegal immigration is because the U.S. is such a great place to live compared to poorer countries like Mexico. To stop illegal immigration, the U.S. has built its border patrol, created fences, developed new technologies. One new technology is called the "predator," which travels across the border to search and find illegal immigrants which are crossing the border from Mexico to the United States. The United States should continue to fund projects to stop illegal immigration because illegal immigrants are a drain on our economy.

ReplyDeleteIlleagal immagration is a problem because the people who sneak in get special education and medical care which citizens have to pay for.
I think the person to blame for this problem is the Mexican government because they don't even try to stop people from crossing the border.
What is being done to is called Border Patrol. Unfortunatly millions can still get across without being detected.
Yes, the U.S. should still put money into this problem. If they didn't then the U.S. might get over crowed ect.

An illegal immigrant is someone who sneaks into the U.S. without doing any paperwork. Illegal immigration is a problem because they make us pay for their education and medical care. Yes, we should put money into this problem because if we don't we have to keep paying for them. I think this issue is getting worse and worse. We need to stop it soon.

i thing we should put cameras on every place there is.illegal immagrats is someonewho comes into the country alligaly.we should do every thing we can.By having more people on duty.they can cause very sirious reces.We have to pay for there edicashon.I think this is geting worse and worse. They do not pay for what they do.We need to stop this now. the president nees to suker ower borter now.................
